Does A Head Injury Cause Concussion?

i just fell backwards and hit my head. i feel ok but i am worrid about a concussion..should i take my self to the emergency room..it is 3 a.m. i am a little drowsy since i took a sleeping pill at midnite, can it wait till the morning or am i worried about nothing..

Head injury should be taken seriously. i would suggest you if you have any of the following symptom

Headache
Nausea and Vomiting
Memory loss
seizure
vertigo
stiffness of neck
Then you should consult to your physician for his opinion.
any ignorance in the treatment may lead to some serious damage.
You may be required for certain diagnostic test and kept under observation for atleast 24 hours.
