Does A Fractured Wrist Lead To Severe Pain In Arm?

Hi, my name is Gary and I have a general question? I fractured my wrist about a year ago. And the doctors told me that it was healed. But at times my arm locks up on me and it aches a Lot. And I can t grip anything. And I am trying to find out what s causing it to still hurt?

Welcome dear!

Thanks for consulting me at my virtual clinic. I have worked through your case thoroughly, and I can easily realize your health worries. Being your physician, I reassure you not to worry as things will settle down very soon.
What your history most probably suggests is, the fracture healed up at its own. And in such situations, bone rejoins at the areas of close approximation and there is no natural process for bones to reallign in the perfect anatomical position as it was before fracture.it may also left defective if manipulated by less expert hands. So the healed bone impinges on the nerves and cause irritation and pain. It comes and goes with seasons. For example winter season leads to aggravate the problem. You are advised to apply Voltran gel on the area of pain.
If it doesn't work please take a digital XRay of the wrist and attach it in a direct question by clicking at "Ask me a question" directly from my profile. I assure you that It will be fine with a detailed medical care.

May you get very well soon and have a wonderful time ahead. Please don't forget to give your valuable feedback and five star rating, to help me assist you in a better way. Click at 'I Find This Answer Helpful' & give a five Stars too. Write a review about your experience with me.
