Does A Colonoscopy Bring On Symptoms From The Gallstones?

Thank you. I had a colonoscopy yesterday without sedation. The said the abdominal pain I was feeling was due to unexcelled gas. I was vomiting. It felt like a gallbladder attack, which I have had many times before. Could a colonoscopy bring on symptoms from the gallstones? I had an ultrasound for my gallbladder two weeks ago which only stated that I have gallstones. No inflammation etc. I have had no trouble for 2 years. Now, all day, I have this dull pain in my upper right and is exactly like a kind of pain I experienced when I was having gallbladder attacks. I am diligent with my diet.

Hi
well colonoscopy bringing on gallbladder pain is unlikey, however it might have been caused due to the prep u take before colonoscopy.Pain could be due to gall stones.Repeat ultrasound would be advisable to see if calculi is close to neck of gallbladder, also rule out gastric issues.
