Does A Blood Clot Cause Swelling And Pain In The Leg?

My left leg is swollen to the point where skin is tight.and red on calf and warm to the touch. When I ve been down for little bit and try to get up I get pain in calf like blood is rushing down leg and have pressure. Is this a blood clot and how soon should I see a doc.

You should see a doctor as soon as possible. this is probably a blood clot or severe inflammation in the leg (cellulitis) that need urgent management.

As soon as possible, you should see a doctor. Do urgent Doppler ultrasound to exclude blood clots in your legs.
