Does UTI Cause Frequent Urge To Urinate?

After sex, but sometimes just regularly, I feel like I have to constantly urinate. It s such an uncomfortable feeling, and about a month ago I had a UTI... they put me on medicine for it. And I felt like it didn t even go away. I just currently took an AZO, because I normally feel better when I take those. As you probably know the internet doesn t help with anything, but could I possibly have a kidney or bladder infection, maybe worse than a UTI?

Welcome to HCM.

UTI certainly can cause urgency. But not every urgency is related to UTI. if you still have symptoms after the treatment you should check your urine again to make sure you don't have another UTI or ressistent UTI.

I would like to know your age, gender and any high sexual behaviour to guide to further regarding this.

also let us know if you have any fever or chills or sweats which will also favor UTI.

do you have any loin to groin pain, should see your doctor immediately.
