Does Tylenol Reduces Temperature, Cough, Running Nose For 3 Year Old?

My son is 3 years old and has been running a temp that has gotten up to about 102 for over 24 hours now. He manages to break the temp but it comes back quickly. I have been giving him Tylenol as I can and don't know what else to do. He also has a cough and runny nose that he has had for approx. a week now. He has been exposed to someone recently who had mono so I am concerned, I don't think that it is that severe but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Hi,

Tylenol can reduce fever in children but should always be given as per dosage and instructions after discussing with your pharmacist. In a 3 year old, body weight becomes important and you should calculate the amount of medication based on body weight.
