Hi,

Topamax 100 mg contains topiramate which belongs to the group of medications known as anticonvulsants is used to treat epilepsy and migraine headaches. It is also used to treat a wide range of mood disorders, eating disorders and to aid in substance abuse therapy. It works by blocking sodium channels in the body that deliver electrical impulses to excitable cells. Its prolonged use may affect the brain like memory impairment, amnesia, dizziness, disturbance in attention, cognitive disorder, mental impairment, psychomotor skills impaired, coordination abnormal, tremor, lethargy, hypethesia, nystagmus, balance disorder, dysarthria, intention tremor, sedation, convulsion and many more.
