Does Thyronorm Ingestion By A Toddler Cause Adverse Side Effects?

Hi my 2 yr old jus had swallowed thyronorm 100mcg tablets and had thrown up a little bit while we were sleeping. May be he chewed and gagged and threw up a bit(like yogurt). I am sure it is within 30mins now. No idea how many he chewed. Saw Some powder on his lips and rinsed his mouth. He is active as usual. Pls advice urgently if I should take him to urgent care.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to worry much.
Thyronorm is having levothyroxin.
It is natural hormone.
It won't cause any adverse effects.
But better to look for diarrhoea, vomiting, perspiration, excessive crying.
If any of these symptoms are seen then take him to hospital. Otherwise no need to worry.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
