hi

My wife is 7 weeks pregnant now, she had bleeding on the 6th week and she had susten 100 injections for a week and now Gyn advised to take Susten 200VT twice a day...There is some discharge now which is brownish in color( not blood)...we are a little worried....Is this discharge expected with the VT usage?

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion susten might not be the cause for brown spotting. So continue susten.I suggest you to get an ultrasound done to rule out the status of pregnancy.Dont worry.Avoid physical strain and intercourse.Take strict bed rest. The brown spotting might be due to hormonal abnormalities like thyroid abnormalities, progesterone insufficiency, any excess physical strain, cervical bleeding or low lying placenta. So treating the cause might also be necessary.
