Does Prozac Interact With Vyvanse?
My son has been through a life altering change in last 2 years.....ie parents divorced. His pediatrician placed him prozac 40 mg. He now has been diagnosed with ADHD and his pediatrician has prescribed prozac 20mg and combine with Vyvanse. I am a licensed paramedic and would like to know if this combination will be safe for my son.

The combination of the two drugs can be problematic since Prozac can increase the side effects of Vyvanse like jitteriness and anxiety and potentaily the two could lead to serotonin syndrome so his doctor would have to monitor him carefully
