Does Primolut N Induce Periods?

hi doctor
My period date was 11 August but i dont get period so i went to doctor i checked my pregnancy but it was negative after that doctor advice me to take Primolut N for 5 days after that you will get period
is it wright to take Primolut N fro 5 days.
