Does Postinor 2 Cause Delayed Periods?

i had unprotected sex on the 23rd of july which is the 16th day after my period. i took postinor 2 the next day 24th of july. my period is due for 4th of august but instead of my period, am spotting since 4th till date (7th) am i pregnant or is it as a result of the postinor 2 i took.

As you had sex on the day that is highly determined to pregnancy you need to go for a pregnancy test.

There are 95-98% of chances that you might not be pregnant as per the studies done, this is also confirmed that you had periods though light. Yes, there are some cases where there can be delayed periods upto one week or earlier too even spotting type periods.

My opinion is if you feel to clarify the situation get a pregnancy test done before it is late. You can also take postinor 2 if you are positive only under the guidelines of your doctor.
