Does Perderm Cream Contain Steroids?

My son is having lips problem for couple of years. Skin Specialist doctor gave perderm cream to apply. I did ask doctor whether this cream contain steroid. It seems that the cream helps on my son s lips problem. But I do not want my son to depend on that cream for long term. Can you recommend me any other cream to apply?

As per your complain Panderm Plus cream contains Steroid Clobetasol and long term use of Steroid based ointment or cream can lead to thinning of skin, increased pigmentation, rashes, drying and inflammation of skin etc..
As you have not clearly described the exact problem associated with his lips I would suggest you that you should consult a trained Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can look for the exact cause of the problem and treat accordingly using Steroid free medications..
As of now you can continue using Panderm as short term use is not harmful..
