Does Nyquil Cause Burning Sensation In Abdomen?

I take nyquil occasionally for flu or cold like symtoms. Everything I take it, it feels as though my stomach is burning and it makes me super uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I always hope that it won t happen again, so I take it. Is this something I should be concerned about? I am not allergic to any medications and typically have a high tolerance for stronger medication. Is it an allergy or is it just a side affect? Should I be concerned?

If you don't take nyquil and never have any other problems ever, then that isn't much of a problem. It has several medications in it that some people find harsh on an empty stomach or if taking it and lying flat. Signs of ulcer would be black or red stool and usually stomach discomfort a lot of the time from a lot of things. A lot of people can't eat/drink anything if they immediately lie down because the stomach contents come back up (hiatal hernia) .. not genreally a serious condition.
