General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Let me tell you that norethisterone prevents ovulation. It causes changes in your cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus. There is no need to worry. Even your test suggest that you are not pregnant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
