Does Naltrexone Cause Stomach Ache?

I am trying to stop drinking and am taking Naltrexone. I thought my nausea was due to the fact that I drank with the naltrexone. Now I am completely not drinking, but still have this lingering stomach ache, and a really bad headache. I am having acid reflux-like vomiting in brown. When I eat, it comes up throughout the night. Is it the Naltrexone, or an ulcer.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The common side effects of Naltrexone are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and headache. The brown vomitus could be due to bleeding from esophageal ulcers, reflux esophagitis, aggravated by the drug, it is better to bring it to the notice of your physician who can help you with alternative options.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
