Does Melaglow Help To Reduce Dark Circles Under The Eyes?

Hi doctor
I'm having dark circles under my eyes for a very long time. I sleep 8 hours everyday. Tried many home remedies.it's not going.even though my mother is having dark circles my siblings doesn't.
Someone suggested an ointment 'melaglow' but I didn't apply it.is it safe to use? Or is there any other remedies

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain dark circles under the eyes can occur due to hyperpigmentation caused due to over production of melanin pigments produced by melanocytes..
Melaglow contains steroid and initially can show good results but in long term it can lead to side effects like thinning of skin, increased pigmentation, sensitivity to sunlight, rashes etc..
A short term use like for 15 days to one month can be done but long term use should be completely avoided..
You can use kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin containing creams, use Vitamin E gel at night, relieve stress by reducing use of computers, tv etc, take vitamin supplements to prevent malnourishment, drink plenty of water, exfoliate your face twice a week and relieve stress by meditation and breathing exercises..
Homely remedies can include placing cucumber pieces to relieve and coolen the eyes, grated potato can also be placed..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
