Does Megestrol Increase One’s Appetite And Weight Gain?

Im on Megestrol again and i eat 15 thousand to 25 thousand calories a day. And dont exercise. I ws 142 pounds this morning i had a 14 piece box of churchs chicken for breakfast and 4 bowls of ramen noodles a microwave lasagna and 32 fishsticks and now 10 oclock im down to 138.7 pounds it kills me. My body refuses to be over 120

Megestrol acetate is known to increase appetite. I don't know why they prescribed Megestrol to you, but it looks like your prescription is needed to be reviewed. You must visit your doctor, meanwhile I suggest strict salt and sugar restriction in your diet. Processed foods are also very bad for your condition due to monosodium glutamat which can progressively worsen your appetite problem. You also must start regular exercise as walking or swimming for improving your metabolic condition.
