Does Marijuana Show Up In Drug Tests?

I have smoked weed twice in my life, once about 4 months ago and again about 6 weeks ago. Both times 4-5 hits, which was enough to get me high. How likely is it that I will test positive in a hair follicle drug test. There is all sorts of contradictory information floating around, even from the ask a doctor websites.

Hi….

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC...

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

Hair drug tests are very sensitive and can detect the use of many drugs for up to 4-6 months. But in your case it will not be detected as you are not a chronic marijuana smoker.
In most of cases one episode of marijuana smoking is out of your body by 6-10 days. . But it also depends upon body’s metabolic system.
One time is not enough to build up the reserves.
It slowly builds up in the body's fat deposits so if the person is smoking marijuana on daily basis (Chronic marijuana smoker), it will get detected in the tests.

Hope this information helps...

Thanks & Regards,
Dr.Shiwani
