Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My question is I had cancer of the vulva area back in 2006. It has come back and I have been given Imiquimod cream 5% to use Mon-Wed-Fri. I have read some reviews and women have complained of painful sores, etc. from the cream. I have 2 questions - 1) if you apply this cream in the wrong area will it cause any problems for normal tissue and 2) I have RSD in both my legs and my surgical oncologist has refused to perform surgery because he thinks the RSD will spread to my vulva. Have you ever heard of this before?
