Does I Pill Intake Alter Menstrual Periods?

After the bleeding caused due to having I-pill to stop pregnency is there a chance that after bleeding gets stoped after three days the bleeding again starts ! And after eating i pill how long the periods gets delayed or if tHe periods date r close then does it comes withing the close day of the i- pill that a girl takes

I pill is an emergency contraceptive pill which after taking causes an imbalance in the hormones. Usually many women get their periods at their regular time after taking the pill but some women experience a delay in periods. There is a small chance that after bleeding stops you will have more bleeding again after 3 days. This is because of the hormonal imbalance brought about by the pill. How much delay or close to the normal period you may get the next period is difficult to predict when one takes the I pill. Therefore one should not use the I pill as regular method of contraception and use it only in emergencies. Try using a condom or a monthly contraceptive pill next time as this is more effective and also regularises your period.
