Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am allergic to halodal. where can i find the effects this drug has on individuals? In my case my tongue was swollen and I has to be taken by ambulance to emergency. I what to know what effects are related to this allergy? I also will not pay for an answer . . . . But thanks anyway .
Allergies to medications present similarly as does allergies to most substances. In most cases allergies can present with swelling, rash, itching. In some cases of substances taken orally (food or meds)- abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting or diarrhea, can sometimes indicate allergies to medications. Persons can experience some or all of the above.
Allergic reactions differ from side effects. The side effects symptoms of a drug are specific to that particular drug while allergic reactions present similarly.
I hope this helps
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
