Hi & Welcome.
I appreciate your concern for your beloved infant.
There's nothing to worry, it will not cause any harm to your baby.

Don't get worried as the toxic dose of Paracetamol is very high.

Fepanil Drops contains 100 mg of Paracetamol/mL. And each mL consists of approximately 20 drops. The dose of Paracetamol is 10-15 mg/Kg body weight/dose.

Since the body weight of your baby is 3.57 Kg, so the dose(upper limit) will be 60 mg that is equivalent to 0.6 ml or 12 drops. Your doctor has advised him at a dose of approximately 10 mg/kg/dose.

By mistake you have given 1.2 to 1.3 ml which is about 120 or 130 mg.

The toxic dose of Paracetamol in children is about 150 mg/Kg (about 10 times higher than the normal dose).

I can assure you that this dose will not cause any harm to the baby.

However, if your baby gets nausea, vomiting or excessive crying consult his treating doctor immediately.

Hope this answers your query.
