Does Essentiale-L Help In Treating Fatty Liver?
Diagnosed with fatty liver in USG last month. SGOT is 105 and SGPT 267 in LFT. Am being prescribed Essentiale-L, twice,3 times daily. Cholesterol moderately high at 240. Quit smoking 4 months back. Also quit drinking. What is my chance of cure and not proceed to cirrhosis? I consume raw garlic and raw tomato every day. Is it harmful at present condition?

Here in your case diagnosis is yet be made I think because you have not given any chief complain neither given any evidence which could show some viral infection of liver so unless we the know the etiology how come it can be said about the recovery, if you mean this is SGOT and SGPT reading so underlying cause of these is important, take care.
