Does Eltroxin Delay Pregnancy While Trying To Conceive?

I had a mc in sep 2017 and was put on eltroxin 50 mcg. My cycles came back to normal in october. In second cycle currently. Obgyn said my thyroid was at 4.0 and could have caused mc. We are trying to conceive in this cycle. Will eltroxin delay pregnancy?

Hi, thanks for your query in HCM.
Regarding your concern, Eltroxin doesn't cause delay pregnancy, Thyroid dysfunction (Hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism) causes problem in conceiving.Your irregular menstrual cycle may be due to thyroid dysfunction and because of which there is delay in pregnancy. Please continue the Medicine for your thyroid problem and also rule out if you have some other issues like polycystic ovarian disease, other hormonal issues which is causing delayed conception.
