Does Elavil Cause Cognitive Issues?
I was put on Elavil 10 mg as treatment for my diabetic neuropathy about 2 years ago. Since last year I have started with some cognitive issues & mild expressive aphasia, placed on Aricept 5mg then upped to 10mg. Today my health insurance pharmacist rep called to review my medications, informed that the 2 meds should be monitored, as Elavil tends to cause issues with confusion. Do you have an opinion regarding this?
