Does Effexor Cause Skin Lesions?

Does Effexor cause skin lesions? Mine have a purplish almost transparent center. I have these on my back. They would weep pus and blood. I eventually ended up with Staph. I m on an antibiotic for the 2nd time within 1 and a 1/2 months, now through February. Also, put an topical on them.

Generally,effexor doesn't cause any skin lesions but hypersensitivity reaction occurs in few patients.they may lead to skin lesions which may be complicated by secondary lesions(staph).So visit your family doctor and explain the situation.If the drug is responsible then it can be changed.
