Does Doxolin Have Any Side Effects?

hi doctor i am not able to properly breath due to heavy cough & cold. i am taking doxolin 400 mg as prescribed by physician 1/2 tablet morning & night while going to sleep.i want to know is there any sideeffect of this remedy?breathing is creating problem for my night sleep.pls provide aluable suggestion.thank you

Hello
You are taking doxophyllin or doxofllin ( doxolin) 400 mg 1/2 twice in day as prescribed by your physician.
You want to know the side effects of this drug.
These are few side effects.
Fine tremors of skeletal muscles, ( e.g. hands) , palpitations & muscle cramps, tachycardia , tenseness & peripheral vasodilation.
Since this causes bronchodilation hence also lowers the Blood pressure.
Few patients also observe nausea , vomiting in the first stage of treatment . However later on most of patient can take this tablet without any side effects for long time.
