I m due for an ESI on March 3. My last one was on Dec. 1st and I had extreme reactions to it, like emotional rage, really high blood pressure (my normal is 116 and it went up to 177), the cataract in my right eye went nuts. As expected, I had a headache for 4 days and could barely sleep. My pain mgmt doc has decided to use Decadron on Mar 3. Should I expect less reactions? How might it affect my A1C which I ve been keeping at bay for 12 years but because of my age 71 it s been ticking up little by little although all my other blood results are wonderful.
