Does Coreg Cause Dizziness And Shortness Of Breath?
I had quadruple bypass surgery on May 18. I have since been taken off plavix and started taking Coreg (beta blocker). For the the last few weeks, I have experienced shortness of breath when I exert myself and now get light headed easily. Are these symptoms a result of the beta blocker?

The symptoms you have, lightheadedness and shortness of breath are not due to the beta blocker but it seems to be due to cardiovascular disease. EKG and ECHO and angiography are advisable and the symptoms have to be taken seriously.
