Hello and welcome to HCM,
I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
PCOD is a condition resulting from imbalances in various hormones that leads to problems with ovulation. One of the commonly affected hormones is insulin. It regulates our blood sugar levels. In PCOD many times there are high levels of insulin but despite that the sugar is also high. Metformin sensitizes the tissue to insulin and decreases blood sugar as well as insulin levels. Clomid is a drug that acts on the ovary to induce ovulation which is frequently absent in PCOD. If you have used it for 2 months without any results, I suggest that you please get an ovulation study done to see if the dose of these drugs are causing ovulation or you need an increase in dose. Also get a thyroid test as this is also frequently abnormal. With the proper dose ovulation will be achieved and you will conceive.
Other measures that are helpful in PCOD include exercise and a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables along with weight loss.
Wish you all the best for your pregnancy.

Hope this was helpful.
Feel free to ask any further queries and I will be happy to help.
Thanks for using HCM.
Have a good day.
