Does Clindamycin Cause Burning Sensation In Throat?
I was prescribed clindamycin by my dentist.I have taken it for 3 days now.But today I took the pill this afternoon at about 2pm and I don t think I drank enough water.It felt like something is stuck in my throat. I thought drinking water would help but not really. I could not even eat, after I swallowed the food,I feel this pain in my throat/chest. and even now a burning sensation in my throat. Can this medicine cause rupture in my esophagus?Please help.

Clindamycin can cause.....
Abdominal or stomach cramps, pain, or tenderness
chest pain
cough or hoarseness
nausea or vomiting
But it will never cause rupture of esophagus dont worry...
i recommend you to take tablet rabeprazole 20 mg in empty stomach once a day for 7days ... nothing to worry ... get well soon...
