Does Chromium And Curcumin Lower Blood Sugar Levels?

Hello, I ve been a type 2 diabetic for 15 years and have learned how to monitor my BS etc. My BS has always been higher than ideal and have been on Novalog and Lantus for years. My ? is why would it start dropping almost every day even into low 40 s and 50 s on a daily basis, mostly in the evening and during sleep. I have been recently taking a couple new supplements Chromium and Curcumin . Would these really lower my BS that much?

Hello,
Chromium and curcumin can decrease blood sugar levels a bit but not that much.
Either your dose of insulin is high or may be it could be a sign of diabetic nephropathy or may be you are eating very less in evening and dinner time.
You are advised to consult a diabetologist and get your kidney function tests done.
Thanks
