Does CholestOff Cause A Rise In Blood Pressure?

I recently started taking CholestOff to lower my cholesterol. Does CholestOff cause a rise in blood pressure? It seems like mine has gotten higher since starting to take CholestOff recently. Maybe it is something else, but my husband s blood pressure, which is usually normal, has also risen since we began taking it.

I am so sorry to hear about this rise in blood pressure that you have reported. It is unusual for this drug to cause a rise in blood pressure and it has not been documented before. i am afraid the very thought of being treated for high cholesterol may have caused some anxiety in you both leading to this. In any case, report this observation to your doctor and should there be no improvement in the numbers, you may want to try another drug as there are several different medications that can be safely used for treating high cholesterol beside cholestOff.
