Does BP Go Up After Drink ?

Does Blood pressure go up after drink ? Last night i got really drunk, and today when i randomly took my blood pressure today it was 147/116, could the drink have done this.? Im 16 .

Yes, drinking alcohol raises your blood pressure but the fact that your blood pressure was still that high after sobering up is strange. No need to panic. Do something that relaxes you. In a couple hours take it again. If it hasnt gone down, I wouldnt worry too much. 147 is a high number but its nothing really to worry about. The number to worry about is the 116. Right now its not in the emergency range, but I'd definitely keep track of it. Remember: a normal BP is 120/80
