welcome to hcm, azithromycin is an antibiotic which is used to treat the bacterial infection levocetrizine is an anti histmine which prevents and treats from allergy. you take cough syrups also. if you have started this treatment i would like to continue these drugs for three days and review. if wheezing is severe have a visit to your treating physician. hope this finds useful DR.Amarnath feel free to ask me queries at http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-amarnath/68732
It is good that you discontinued smoking, that would help speed up resolution of your illness and prevent recurrence.
In addition to the medication that you are currently using, you may want to consider adding a mucolytic. This is a medication that can help to break up mucus so that it can be expelled easier.
