Does Avapro And Lyrica Cause High BP If Taken Together?

my husband is on Avapro 300 and he has recently seen the doctor for back pain and this is making or effecting his leg the doctor has prescribed lyrica 75 one tablet a day .my question is does lyrica clash with the Avapro? because he is having some problems with his blood and heart pressure lately

Hi,
These two drugs do not interact to cause blood pressure problems. There is a possibility that your husband's blood pressure has worsened coincidently at the same time as starting Lyrica for his back.
He may need to increase his blood pressure treatment. I suggest you discuss altering his Avapro dose with his doctor.
