Does Avapro 300 Cause Weight Gain?

Does Avapro 300 cause you to gain weight? I ve gained over twenty pounds in less than two years. I m being treated for unstable angina, high blood pressure also anxiety. It hit all at once with heat attack symptons. No stents for now but take Avapro 300 plus Lopressor 25 also xanex .25. I also take Lipitor 80. So far haven t had any more heart attack symptons. Doctor said I didn t have a heart attack, just aggravated my heart by overworking. I also take 325 mg coated aspirin. So you can see if this would cause weight gain. Thank you S. G.

Hi Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The main cause of the weight gain are the accumulation of the fat, excess intake of the calories, avapro may not cause any weight gain, there may be little accumulation of fluids.
I advise you to consult your doctor for diagnosis, and follow the weight reduction procedures like, cutting calories, fats,in diet.
Practice yoga, morning walk, minimise the sleeping hours, and avoid day time sleep.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts and
protein rich food,to help weight reduction.
Wising for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
