Ayurveda Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

The drug itself is an anti hypertensive drugs which must have been given to lower your blood pressure if at all it was above normal. The drugs cannot increase the blood pressure but it is definitely not lowering it down. I suggest you avoid stress, and do some exercise and yoga. Meditation is one of the powerful stress relievers. I can suggest some Ayurvedic drugs for you but only after proper evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. M Zahoor Bhat
