Does Alivher Help To Increase The Amniotic Fluid?

Hii dr.. m 35 week pregnant n my afi 6.0 dr suggest me for I.v .. I took iv of alamin sn 3 times in alternate days.. now the afi is 6.4 only it was not increased as much as possible.. again dr suggest me iv of alamin sn.. now I consulted to nxt dr she prescribed me of alivher 25 mg 3 times in a day... Is it helpful to increase amniotic fluid...

Alivher(sildanefil) increases blood flow and perfusion by dilating the blood vessels. Yes, it will increase blood flow to the baby significantly and is a proven treatment for decreased amniotic fluid levels(oligohydramnios) . You can take the prescription without any doubt. Repeat the ultrasound and Doppler in a week. Monitor your baby's movements. Drink plenty of fluids at least 3 - 4 litres daily, maximize water intake.
