hello. I work with someone from the country hungry. I usually take Percocet 10mg for my herniated dics. However, I forget to bring my pills to work today. My co-worker offered me a Algro-flex forte to help with pain. Can u tell me anything about this before I decide to take this???

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Percocet you are taking is the combination or narcoticoxycodone and paracetamol. Algo flex is ibuprofen a NSAID group drug. Algoplus forte will have paracetamol in addition. It is effective for pain relief but not as much as percocet. If you are tolerant with ibuprofen you can take it. It should be taken only after food to decrease gastric irritation. Where you have herniated discs? If you have at lumbar side then you can use a lumbar supporting belt also. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
