To answer the question as you asked it.....NO! You'd be dead. Heart Failure "Symptons".....that's differant and YES you could be experiencing some. Things like "Fatigue, sleeplessness or lack of good restful sleep, on-set of other problems such as Pulmonary fibrosis otherwise known as Emphysema (For your particular question). You could be Pre-Diabetic, diabetic now.....but "Heart Failure" is usually referred as a Post-Mortem condition. Quit smoking and drink no more than a beer or two a day....tops!! According to JAMA.
