Do Weight Loss Causes Night Sweating?

I m a 24 year old woman with a BMI of 15.9. I have lost weight due to a restricted diet (due to unhappiness during a year spent in Europe). I am not suffering from a typical eating disorder. I eat a good breakfast, a wholesome lunch and 1-2 snacks per day. I work out 2-4 evenings a week. However, I have a food OCD problem where for most nights a week I will only eat 2-3 slices of wholegrain seeded toast generously spread with nut butter, an apple, a banana and 4 chocolate brazil nuts for dinner. I also drink 3 cups of tea with dinner. I go to bed 1-2 hours later. I have been eating like this for several years, on and off, though I do break the cycle from time to time to go out for dinner etc. I experience night sweats and wake up very damp around the chest area. I know I need to work on breaking the cycle with my evening meal. However, I would like to know what is causing the night sweats so I can address this more quickly.

Are you too much cautious about it or having phobia?
I would ask you more about your cholesterol levels, any hypertension, adrenaline secretion on slightest provocation etc.
As far as restricted eating is concerned, the correctness of metabolic activities also may be held responsible for all the mess. Colon removal has some kind of hormonal disbalance too that may be ascertained by your treating doctor.
Hope this answers your query.
