Do Testosterone Injections Or Pills Help Increase Size And Strength?
I am a 70 yr old male and have been bodybuilding for years. I was told that testosterone injections or pills would help me increase in size and strength. I really don t think so but I wanted to ask someone in the medical field. Would this be a waste of money? I have no belly fat, my sex drive is good and I am very active. But I heard that men lose testosterone after age 40. Also, I do take my vitamins, minerals, coQ10 and fish oil as well as niacin and Vitamin D. Is there a replacement for testosterone supplements if needed? Thanks for answering.
this is true testosterone help in increasing muscle mass and strength but it has lot of side effect like baldness, change in behavior, prostate disease, liver dysfunction etc. with age there is slight decrease in testosterone level. But if it is in normal range then there is no need of testosterone supplements. In ur case taking testosterone may be risky due to age factor and prostate issues which are common in old age. So there is no need to take testosterone. Remember one think..male are evergreen..as u r..
Thanks
