Do Nausea, Constipation And Fatigue Suggest Pregnancy?

In may my boyfriend & I had unprotected sex and he didn t use the pull out method. That happened about 5 times in may. Since then I ve had my period in June which was 5 days early . July it was 3 days early & now I m experiencing another period that started on the 24th of this month. I ve been experiencing nausea , constipation , fatigue , & frequent uriniation. Could I be pregnant?

The most common symptoms of pregnancy are:
-nausea without vomiting
-trender, swollen breasts
-fatigue
-increase urinary frequency
-missed periods

It sounds like you are having a couple of those symptoms, but not all of them. Constipation is generally not a symptoms of pregnancy but can happen in the later trimesters.

I would recommend picking up a pregnancy test at your local store. They are fairly cheap and very accurate. In addition:
-prenatal vitamin which you can also pick up at most stores.
-see an obstetric doctor to establish care and get labs, urinalysis, Pap smear, ultrasound, and monitor the health of you and your baby
-avoid alcohol, tobacco, and drugs
-update vaccinations
-avoid all unnecessary medications. You can get a full list of medications to avoid from your doctor
-rest
-hydrate, increase fluid intake
-limit caffeine intake

For you constipation, I would recommend increase you fiber intake. Food such as bran, fruits and vegetables, whole grains all are high in fiber. I would also recommend taking miralax daily - you can get it at any store. Also, increase fluid intake. The best time to move bowels is in the morning, after eating breakfast, when the normal bowel transit and defecation reflexes are functioning. Occasional constipation responsive to simple measures is harmless.
