Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I am 38 and single. I have been diagnosed with PCOD since 2003 and was on medication till 2012 to regularize monthly cycles. After 2012 my cycles were regular without medicines. But this year I had skipped one menstrual cycle in May. Had cycles from June onwards. Again I skipped them in october and november. My gynaec has now put me on Meprate (for 3 days now x 2 tablets per day). 1. Do skipping cycles in my case cause cancer of any kind? Should I get any test for it? My gynaec says there is nothing to worry but i am worried. 2. I have white discharges regularly especially after walking or gymming. Is it a cause of concern? Request answers. Thanks in advance.
Women can have a vaginal discharge as part of their norm but if you are concerned that there may be an infection such as yeast infection present, then your doctor can see and treat you.
Vaginal discharge is not a symptom of cancer that is normally seen.
I hope this helps
