Do Immature Granulocytes Composed Of Metamyelocytes, Myelocytes And Promyelocytes Indicate A Malignancy In The Body?
My OBGYN suspected that I have ovarian cancer she ordered blood test and CA 125, the blood test came back showing that there is Immature Granulocytes that is composed of metamyelocytes, myelocytes, promyelocytes; band and blast are not included. Is this mean that there is a malignancy in my body?
I want to know how much percentage of immature cells present in your body. Up to 30% of immature cells can be seen in leukemoid reaction or shift to left condition. So provide your total WBC count, differential count, and peripheral smear examination report for giving more comment regarding leukemia present or not.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
