Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,
Obesity and high BP can be due to a combination of multiple causes. Most of them are genetic or inherited. Hormonal problems can cause obesity and hypertension like diseases of thyroid gland and adrenal gland. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help

With warm regards,

Dr Ajish TP (MD,DM)
Consultant Endocrinologist.

You should consult and endocrinologist or physician to do the blood tests.
