Do Hypoechic Lesion Of Thyroid Neck Cause Swelling ?

i got swelling at left neck i take sonography test shows hypoechic lesion of thyroid neck adenopathy probably infective etiology. after that i went to FNAC show lymphocytes and few histiocytes enmeshed with fibrin threads, non chronic specific lymphadenitis. why still i got same size neck swelling for the past 4 months.

Hi rasi,

Welcome to HCM.
You have a Non Specific chronic lymphadenitis and Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology is suggestive of a chronic condition but not infective in origin.
You don't have to worry. Probably it is associated with dandruff in the scalp.
If the swelling enlarges in size or becomes painful, then you should consult your doctor again, otherwise ignore it.
