Do Floppy Larynx And An Enlarged Liver In A Child Have Any Connection?

Hi we have an 8 week old son who spent two nights in a hospital due to breathing problems he was diognosed with a floopy larynx. At his 8 week check the doctor said he has an enlarged liver and this morning i noticed the base of his thumb nails were turning purple. what can this be? do you think the floppy larynx and enlarged liver can be connected?

A disease affecting connective tissue can cause both these features (liver appears enlarged as it droops down in abdomen because of poor strength of supporting ligaments. Kindly discuss with your doctor, as we have to do a more detailed evaluation in this
